Lawrence Okolie puts his WBO cruiserweight title on the line against Michal Cieslak in London this weekend, with Manchester’s Campbell Hatton also on the card.
A big month for boxing continues this weekend as Lawrence Okolie will defend his WBO cruiserweight title against Michal Cieslak in London on Sunday.
Okolie was hoping for a unification bout against Mairis Briedis, but that never materialized and instead the defense against Cieslak may be his last time in the ring at this weight.
The 29-year-old fighter has spoken of his impending move up to heavyweight, and a win against Cieslak would be the perfect way to close out his time at cruiserweight.
It will be a tough test against Poland’s Cieslak, who has just one loss on his 22-fight record, and here’s everything you need to know.
How can I watch Okolie vs Cieslak?
The fight on Sunday, February 27 at the O2 Arena in London will be available exclusively on DAZN.
It will be available in more than 200 countries around the world, with Australia and New Zealand being notable exceptions.
Eddie Hearn’s fight venue has signed with DAZN, and is also expected to be the home of Anthony Joshua’s future fights.
What’s on the undercard?
Campbell Hatton, son of boxing icon Ricky, is set for his final fight in the ring against Joe Ducker.
The 21-year-old is 5-0 in his professional career since making his debut last year, last beating Attila Csereklye in Bilbao in December.
